Description
Rietsch’s Crémant D’Alsace Extra Brut is a sparkling wine defined as complex, with an incomparable taste and texture. Its bright straw yellow colour denotes in the glass the elegance that characterises it.
This wine is the result of the processing of three grape varieties which are 60% Auxxerois, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Gris. It has an abundant and persistent perlage, with fresh and expressive aromas typical of the Pinot grape variety.
On the palate, you will taste the balanced acidity that makes it elegant and lively, with a very particular bubbly texture.
Winemaking
In France, sparkling wines produced outside the Champagne region are called «Crémant», as is the case of this wine. It is made from vines between 15 and 18 years old.
As with other wines from this winery, 100% artisanal harvesting techniques are also applied, and then the fruit is taken to the winery and pressed at low pressure for several hours.
The resulting must is fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, so that the fruit can fully express its flavour and texture.
Finally, it is aged for at least 36 months in the bottle before disgorging.
Taste
Rietsch’s Crémant D’Alsace Extra Brut is a sparkling wine with marked fruit tones that perfectly balances the mineral flavour and its bubbly texture.
An inimitable wine
This wine is considered by many tasters as inimitable, as its taste and texture are so particular that there is no other wine with which it can be compared. It is ideal to accompany dishes that include seafood and blue fish.
