Compared with the wine I tasted some time ago, there is a huge jump in quality and average age of the wine in this fifth edition of the NV L’O de l’Origan Rose. This could be the rosé with more aging in the market, 160 months sur lie (up from the 60 months it had when I tasted it in 2014!), and the wine is completely different, much more complex and nuanced, with a profile of aged wine, finely oxidative and barely a rosé in color or profile. It has nutty notes, with some spicy notes, bone dry and with a very tasty finish. 2,000 bottles produced.
