Description
Clos Lentiscus Gubi Gubi Pet Nat is a sparkling wine made exclusively from Sumoll and Muscat of Alexandria grapes by the Clos Lentiscus winery in Penedès (Catalonia).
These grapes come from vineyards planted on sandy and calcareous soils and cultivated in the protected Natural Park of Garraf (Penedès) following the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
The vineyards are cultivated by hand and no chemicals are added to preserve the natural balance of the vineyard, helping to maintain biodiversity.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand, then the two varieties are directly pressed together. The wine is then fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks and the final fermentation takes place in the bottle where it spends 8 months on its fine lees. Finally, the wine is bottled without adding sulphites.
Taste
Clos Lentiscus Gubi Gubi Pet Nat is a sparkling wine with intense fruity aromas. It is light on the palate, with a very present acidity which lengthens the wine’s journey through the palate.
