Description
Clos Lentiscus Colection Rosé Brut Nature is a sparkling rosé wine made from Syrah grapes by the Clos Lentiscus winery in the Penedès DO.
This wine has been crafted from grapes coming from vineyards planted in 1939 on calcareous sandy soils located in the Garraf Massif, which have been cultivated according to biodynamic farming practices.
Winemaking
Harvesting is carried out by hand once the grapes have reached their optimum ripeness. The wine is made using the ancestral method, with fermentation beginning in the tank and ending in the bottle. In the cellar, the grapes are macerated for 4 hours.
Fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, and the fermentation is completed in the bottle.
Finally, it is left to age for 60 months on its fine lees. This wine is gently filtered to maintain its maximum expression.
Taste
Clos Lentiscus Colection Rosé Brut Nature has intense fruity and herbal aromas. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh, fruity, well-integrated, with medium acidity and a medium finish with a slight bitterness.
A light and vibrant sparkling wine
Clos Lentiscus Colection Rosé Brut Nature is a natural sparkling wine that directly reflects the purest flavour and character of the variety and terroir that gave it origin.
In the gastronomic field, this wine is perfect as an aperitif and for business lunches, and to accompany smoked meats, fish, seafood, cheeses and Iberian cured meats.
