Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Tasted single blind against its peers. This bottle of Raymond-Lafon 2008 was showing a touch of combined sulphur on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with a viscous entry. It has very good acidity with a crisp citric undertow, but the finish a little compact and linear compared to its peers. This example seems less harmonious than others, although it deserves a few years in bottle as the components are present and correct. Tasted January 2012.
